Francisco Vera, Founding and Managing Partner of Adson Strategies, head of "Risk Management and Restructuring".
Holder of a law degree from Barcelona University he completed his training at prestigious international business schools such as the London Business School (Corporate Finance), Muskegon Community College in Michigan (Business Law), the IESE Business School of the University of Navarre (General Management Programme and Portfolio Management) and ESADE Business & Law School (New Technologies Law).
Vera is also Managing Partner of Maecenas Kapital, a Spanish capital restructuring fund aimed at companies in special situations in the Middle Market segment in Spain, and a member of the Legal Commission of Foment del Treball Nacional (Catalan employers' organisation).
Vera is also a member of the Madrid Bar Association, the Barcelona Bar Association, Círculo de Economía and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
Finally Francisco has been a speaker in various forums concerning business administration, such as the National Public Revenue Service (AEAT), the Ministry for the Economy and Valencia Bar Association (ICAV) among others. Vera is also a lecturer on Restructuring at the Villanueva Institute.
Mercè Comabasosa is a Founding Partner and the Managing Director of Adson Strategies. Her functions include all those concerning the commercial management of the firm and magagement of the Human Capital Department of Adson Strategies. Comabasosa has also been CEO of Albidania Partners since 2011, a company providing administrative management and accountancy, HHRR and Buying services.
Earlier in her career Mercè was the manager of a number of HHRR companies and, thanks to the knowledge she acquired of human resources management, she has taken part in the restructuring processes of large companies taking a leading role particularly in employment matters. Comabasosa is a specialist on selection processes, commercial management, assessment of human capital, human resources and business management.
Mercè also plays an active part in the AECC (Asociación Española contra el Cáncer), a non-profit making organisation in the fight against cancer which leads efforts in Spain to reduce the effects of this illness and improve quality of life.
Pablo Aixelá is a partner of Adson Strategies and, together with Carolina Tejuca, co-ordinates the Management Consultancy department. A law graduate with an MBA from Berkeley University (Haas School of Business) Aixelá, in addition to being a partner of various firms, has more than 20 years' professional experience in consultancy and company management. His time with Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he handled consultancy projects in London, Lisbon, Paris and Madrid and worked for leading companies in various sectors such as energy, telecommunications and aeronautics among others stands out in particular.
Pablo Aixelá has wide experience in financial and logistical cost reduction projects, launching of new products in different sectors (positioning, plans of action, processes and implementation) and long-term strategic development plans; including market and competition analysis, geographical and business diversification alternatives, design of the organisational structure of new business units and their relations with other units, formation of strategic alliances, calculation of potential market for the granting of licences, structuring of mergers and acquisitions analysing companies and their potential as acquisition targets.
Aixelá also has experience in business coaching for small and medium-sized enterprises as CEO and co-founding partner of Action Coach, a business coaching firm with offices in Madrid and Sao Paulo and which concentrates on profit-generation, systematisation and effective time management. Pablo designed the strategy for entering the Brazilian market, led the selection process for the general manager for Brazil and strategic partners and negotiated agreements for setting up in that country.
Moreover having worked in Telecinco he also has experience in the world of marketing and team management. During his time as Head of Marketing and Products for the channel Aixelá led a team of more than 30 people and co-ordinated the launching of a digital marketing company which received investments of more than 4 million US$.
He has also recently undertaken with his partners in Emprende Capital a re-structuring project for a insolvent packaging company designed to turn the company around in all areas and which in six months has seen it return to positive Ebitda.
Carolina Tejuca is a partner of Adson Strategies and together with Pablo Aixelá leads the Management Consultancy department. A law graduate, Tejuca completed her training with a GSMP at the Chicago Business School and a MBA at Instituto de Empresa.
Carolina has been developing business consultancy projects for more than 20 years and is a private investor in various business projects, and sits on the investment committee of Vita General de alquiler de Maquinaria (GAM). She began her career at the American consultancy Booz Allen and Hamilton where she took part in strategic projects for leading companies in the telecommunications and media sector, the most important of these being support for one of the leading Spanish telecommunications companies in its internationalisation strategy and the analysis of non-related diversification possibilities of an important Spanish publishing firm leading in the educational sector and negotiations with possible partners in the Middle East.
Later in the field of energy liberalisation Carolina worked for Concord (a spin-off of Booz) with two leading companies on various strategic projects (design of commercial structure and of large-customer policy on the basis of analysis and prior segmentation, design of internet strategy and Strategic Diversification Plan: New businesses / new markets).
In the academic setting of the IE Business School, Top 10 FT, Tejuca was in charge of the consultancy area from which she directed a number of international joint venture projects with Wharton, such as a strategic project for the internationalisation of an animal feed company, a project for the internationalisation of Spanish and mobility centres.

Guillermo Pérez-Olivares is a lawyer at the Madrid office. He joined the firm in 2010 and has concentrated on advising companies in all types of commercial operations, specifically the setting up of companies, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
With wide experience in insolvency he has taken part in large-scale insolvency procedures and in advising companies in crisis and voluntary winding up and protection from creditors.
Having worked for Caja Duero, where among other responsibilities he worked with the administration department on an inspection by the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), he joined PwC (previously PricewaterhouseCoopers) as an auditing superviser.
In his 5 years with the firm he worked as an auditor, leading teams for clients such as Europcar, ONCE or Grupo Técnicas Reunidas.
Ex student of the Liceo Francés in Gavá, holder of a law degree from the Pompeu Fabra University and a degree in company management from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). Montserrat began her career in the accounts section of the financial department of Tech Data.
She joined Adson Strategies as an associate in 2014, working in the field of financial analysis. She speaks Spanish, French, Portuguese and Catalan bilingually, fluent English and also Italian.
